Temperature Control
On-Board® IS 1st Stage Temperature Control
Executive Summary
On-Board® IS Cryopumps can provide consistent pumping of Type 1A gases with the 1st Stage Temperature Control set to 100K. This provides an intrinsic ability to handle higher heat loads while maintaining the 100K set point more efficiently than 65K operations. However, at the 100K set point there is a reduction of pumping speeds for Type 1A gases.
