The Pinnacle personality cards are designated in a two letter code that is part of the unit's SAP description. A typical description would look like this:

The text in bold are the codes that describe the personality cards. The first letter describes the card in slot 2 and the second the card in slot 1. The type of card installed can also be determined by using the menus on an active front panel unit or by the codes flashed on the front of a passive panel at power up. The table below lists what the codes stand for:
