Brooks Automation ADE-351 Robot Refurbishment - Scope of Work
Refurbishment is recommended for robots over 5 years old.
PTB Sales will perform the following:
1. Incoming Inspection
- Attach Work Order to ADE-351 Robot
- Picture taken of ADE-351 Robot's Configuration/Condition
2. Complete teardown and disassembly
- Replace all wear items such as bearings and arm drive cables
- Replace all Internal Flex Cables
- Replace Vacuum tubing
- Replace both Vacuum Solenoids
- Replace both Vacuum Sensors
- Replace R, T Harmonic Drive assemblies
- Replace R,T, Z and X Servo Motor/encoders
- Clean re-lubricate Z-axis lead-screw assembly
- Clean re-lubricate Z-axis linear bearings
- Replace Z-axis Drive Belt
3. Test
- Test for vacuum leaks.
- Check all axes alignment
- Set arm retract and COP position
- Check and adjust Theta “Dead Zone” as needed
- Perform accuracy and repeatability tests per ADE specification
- Perform 48 hour Burn-in test for repeatability
4. Final Quality Control Check List
- Final Test Report attached to Robot
- Replace Service Label
- Protective covers installed on I/I connectors
- Package with accordance with DOT Standards
- Clean & bag for shipment
- Warranty (1 Year)
ADE-351 Robot Enhanced Repair - Scope of Work
PTB Sales will perform the following:
1. Incoming Inspection
- Attach Work Order to ADE-351 Robot
- Picture taken of ADE-351 Robot's Configuration/Condition
2. Complete teardown and disassembly
- All parts are inspected and cleaned with a High Pressure Parts washer
- Inspect all wear items such as bearings and replace as necessary
- Inspect internal Flex Cables, replace as needed
- Inspect vacuum tubing and replace as needed
- Replace Vacuum Solenoids as needed
- Replace Vacuum Sensors as needed
- Inspect R, T and Z-axis Servo Motors or encoders rework as needed
- Inspect, clean and lubricate Harmonic Drive assemblies, replace as needed
- Clean and Lubricate Linear bearings
- Clean and Lubricate Z-axis lead-screw
3. Test
- Test for vacuum leaks.
- Perform Diagnostics testing
- Check all axes alignment
- Set arm retract and COP position
- Check and adjust Theta “Dead Zone” as needed
- Perform accuracy and repeatability tests per ADE specification
- Perform 48 hour Burn-in test for repeatability
4. Final Quality Control Check List
- Final Test Report attached to Robot
- Replace Service Label
- Protective covers installed on I/I connectors
- Package with accordance with DOT Standards
- Clean & bag for shipment
- Warranty (6 months)
