Brooks Automation PRI-Equipe VAC-407-2A Robot Refurbishment - Scope of Work

Refurbishment is recommended for robots over 5 years old.

PTB Sales will perform the following:

1. Incoming Inspection

  • Attach Work Order to VAC-407-2A Robot
  • Picture taken of VAC-407-2A Configuration/Condition

2. Complete teardown and disassembly

  • Replace all arm bearings
  • Replace arm link drive bands
  • Inspect condition of top flange vacuum seal area, rework as needed
  • Replace R and T servo motors
  • Replace Harmonic Drive assemblies

3. Test

  • Run Vacuum leak testing. * If fails, Ferro Fluidic seal must be rebuilt, (not included in standard pricing above will require a re-quote)
  • Run EQT Diagnostics testing.
  • Verify sensor functions
  • Test function of circuit boards and cable/wiring, replace as needed
  • Set arm COP and retract position
  • Check axes alignment and Theta “Dead Zone”
  • 48 hour Burn-in test for repeatability.

4. Final Quality  Control Check List

  • Final Test Report attached to Robot
  • Replace Service Label
  • Protective covers installed on I/I connectors
  • Package with accordance with DOT Standards
  • Clean & bag for shipment
  • Warranty (1 Year)

Brooks Automation PRI-Equipe VAC-407-2A Robot Enhanced Repair Scope of Work

PTB Sales will perform the following:

1. Incoming Inspection

  • Attach Work Order to VAC-407-2A Robot
  • Picture taken of VAC-407-2A Configuration/Condition

2. Complete teardown and disassembly

  • Inspect any wear components such as bearings and replace as needed
  • Inspect arm link drive bands, replace as needed.
  • Inspect condition of top flange vacuum seal area, rework as needed
  • Test servo-motors current and encoder function replace as needed
  • Inspect, clean and re-lubricate Harmonic Drive assemblies, replace as needed

3. Test

  • Run Vacuum leak testing. * If fails, Ferro Fluidic seal must be rebuilt, (not included in standard pricing above will require a re-quote)
  • Run EQT Diagnostics testing.
  • Verify sensor functions
  • Test function of circuit boards and cable/wiring, replace as needed
  • Set arm COP and retract position
