Kinney KV 100 55 Gallon Oil - NEW
Kinney KV100 oil is used for stage mechanical vacuum pumps with ultimate vacuum specifications of .010 Torr. This product is a blend of solvent-refined paraffinic-based oils with R & O and defoamer additives.
SPECIAL INFORMATION
1) This product is not defined as hazardous in accordance with 29CFR1910.1200. Per OSHA Hazard Communication Law of Nov. 25, 1985, special handling or labeling precautions are not required. However, (per OSHA 29 CFR Part 1910, Subpart Z, Toxic and Hazardous Substances, Para. 1910.1000 Air Contaminants) exposure to oil mist must be limited to a concentration of 5 MG/M3 for an 8 hour time weighted average. The discharge of a vacuum pump must be filtered to avoid excessive oil mist concentration.
2) A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is available on request (D250-90).
3) NFPA (Nat. Fire Prot. Assoc.) rating: 110
4) This oil is approved as a lubricant with no food contact by USDA Nonfood Compounds Category H2.
